Mount Etna Volcano is one of the world’s most active volcanoes and the most active one in Europe. It has been erupting for several million years.
This volcano has more than 400 craters, split all over the Catania county .
The driver to mount Etna is stunning , going through several Old Sicilian towns, (santa Venerina, Zafferena) and stopping off to see some of the previous old Lava Flows.
With your tour you will reach about 2000 meters (7.000 ft) and start off by visiting the “silvestri “ craters which were formed in 1986 and move on to see some of the latest lava craters which were formed in 2001-2003.
Through the tour you are also stopping off at a local family agriculture shop and taste some local Enta Wine , a selection of natural honey and
