Villa Britannia sits alongside the villa to where the famous writer D.H Lawrence lived for over 7 years. D.H. Lawrence was so fascinated and charmed by Villa Britannia’s gardens that he referred to them several times in his novels.
From Villa Britannia gardens not only can you see a wide selection of Italian and Sicilian vegetation but there is also a Roman tomb, which you can see for yourself when in the Villa Britannia garden.
The villa has now been fully restored offering two double suites both equipped with balcony and terrace with sea and garden views, large spacious rooms furnished with antique furniture and equipped with all modern comforts and each with brand new shower/ bathrooms .
The villa offers full organic continental and organic Sicilian breakfasts served from 7- 11 am on the large main terrace with sea view .All products are selected from our local organic farms and some are also have been picked directly from our own garden allotment.
Villa Britannia can also organise balcony aperitifs drinks for you , as well as special Sicilian dinners cooked by a professional private chef. Meals can be served within the villas garden and on the terrace.
Villa Britannia will also be offering various activities that can be held on request, such as Sicilian cooking lessons in the Villas kitchen, watercolour and acrylic painting courses held in garden and yoga lessons in the morning
